British Olympic Association
Travel to Tokyo was an initiative from Get Set, the British Olympic Association and British Paralympic Association’s youth engagement programme. It was originally created as the official London 2012 education programme, to deliver against Lord Coe’s vision to use the Games to inspire a generation of young people. Travel to Tokyo aims to inspire children aged 5–11 and their families to try new activities and get active together in the run-up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As Senior Designer at EdComs, I spearheaded the design for a range of print resources, environmental graphics, illustrations, and animations. I collaborated closely with the broader project team, with a special focus on working alongside the animation studio. There, I designed storyboards and created illustrated backgrounds for the campaign’s animated resource videos, ensuring a cohesive and visually engaging experience across all materials.
